Flute Lessons

The flute is a versatile and enchanting woodwind instrument renowned for its clear, bright, and ethereal tones. Crafted from metal, typically silver or nickel, the flute generates sound through the player's precise manipulation of the keys and blowing across the mouthpiece without a reed.

Classical

Known throughout the western world for its beautiful high tones, the flute is particularly well suited to classical repertoire, and our fully trained and experienced teachers can point you on the right path to gaining correct technique and confidence in the instrument.

Performance Opportunities

All of our students are encouraged (but never forced) to perform as soon as they feel ready, and our tutors will guide and help you or your child get through those nerves with empathy and understanding, regardless of your age or ability.

Adult Music Lessons

Prelude School of Music offers lessons for both adults and children out of our Liverpool-based studio, regardless of if you are a beginner or you’ve had lessons before. All of our DBS-checked tutors are highly trained and experienced, and will guide you through learning the flute at a pace that suits you!
