Music lessons can be an amazing way for children to explore their creativity, learn a new skill and have lots of fun. Our teachers are all fully DBS (formerly CRB) checked and experienced with working with young children. This means that we can make sure their musical education gets off to the best possible start – leading to a lifetime of musical enjoyment.

For many children, music exams offer a structured way to progress on their chosen instrument. We have years of experience with helping children of all ages pass their music exams with both ABRSM and Trinity exam boards. All the way from learning study pieces, to booking and scheduling exams and receiving final grades – we will be there to help and support your child. Get in touch to discuss the best way we can support your child’s musical education.

Music can be a challenging subject at school, and we are well aware of the pressures that can come with having lots of exams to revise for. At Prelude, we offer a service to help prepare and support your child when preparing for music exams or completing coursework at school. Our teachers have extensive experience of helping young people with their curriculum music education. Get in touch today and find out how we can help.

We take the health & safety of all children attending lessons at Prelude extremely seriously. The valid DBS checks held by all of our teachers are the baseline in our child safety and safeguarding policy. We encourage parents to attend lessons with their children, and to take an active role in helping to encourage regular practice at home. You can rest assured that at our music school we take every step to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment for your child.
