Saxophone Lessons

As with all our Liverpool-based music lessons, saxophone lessons with Prelude are student-focused, centred around you and your experience. Whether you want to learn jazz, classical or even improvisation, our teachers are able to help guide you.

JAZZ

As the saxophone is one of the dominating sounds of jazz music, it may come as no surprise that our teachers are experts in the field. If learning jazz styles is for you, Prelude School of Music can absolutely offer guidance on playing jazz sax, including jazz qualifications if you were inclined.

CLASSICAL

The saxophone is by no means restricted to Jazz repertoire, and if you were interested in more traditional styles, Prelude School of Music can offer this as well, all our teachers have practical grade qualifications and degrees in their fields, meaning you would be gaining access to a wealth of information and experience.

IMPROVISATION

Our saxophone tutors are all experienced improvisers - which means they know how to make up cool sounding music on the spot. The best thing about that is they can teach you how to do it too! If you are interested in learning how to improvise, whether you are a beginner or an experienced saxophonist, Prelude School of Music can help you hone your skill.
